Far Eastern Art Gallery
A section on the seconod floor is devoted to the Chinese and the Japanese art. A major part of it is the bequest of Sir Ratan Tata and gift of Sir Dorab Tata Trust. The collection is rich in 'Export' material that was specially manufactured for the Western market. It includes some wood-block prints by eminent artists such as Utamaro, Hiroshige and Kunisada. An iron Snake of rare workmanship made by a renowned armour maker, Muni Yoshi, is today considered the National Treasure of Japan.
