Nepal - Tibet Gallery

The Nepal-Tibet gallery on the first floor presents a fascinating panorama of the religious and artistic world of both these regions. The Tibet gallery includes the essential features of Tantric Buddhism as reflected in its art. The 16th-century image of Sron-Tsan-Gampo, who established Buddhism in Tibet, and a twelvethth-century image of Maitreya from Nepal are the highlights of this gallery.
